Dear Friends
Happy New Year!!
This weekend the family of ZAOGA FIF Ministries International bade farewell to a hero, a father, an evangelist, a son – a great man of God Evangelist Dr. Ezekiel Guti Junior affectionately known as Evangelist EJ, in style. Celebrations to send off the hero began Friday 12th of January at 8pm till 4am at AMFCC with our father Prof E. H Guti giving the opening remarks to encourage and comfort all the nations affected. He reminded the family of ZAOGA FIFMI that we ought to celebrate the legacy of Evangelist Dr. EJ as he was a man who lived for the Lord and died in the Lord therefore he has gone to be with His maker. So we ought to celebrate and not mourn.
About 3000 people gathered to celebrate. The night was filled with songs of praise, powerful testimonies and evangelists who delivered so powerfully that many miracles happened; others were healed while some recovered what was stolen by the devil. People danced till dawn. Saturdaycelebrations began at 10am till 3 pm closing with the body viewing. Celebrations later shifted to the Harare City Sports Centre in line with Evangelist EJ’s vision for 2018 to preach in stadiums. The celebrations started at 7pm with 7000 people and continued till dawn. More testimonies were heard and evangelists preached with God confirming His word by healing and deliverance setting people free. Sunday January 14, by 8am the Harare City Sports Center was packed with over 15000 people including the over flow. More than 150 people were saved. Government officials from Zimbabwe and other countries attended the celebrations. Many other international guests were received as they came to pay their last respects to the Evangelist. Church founders and bishops of other ministries testified how their leadership was affected by the ministry of Evangelist EJ. Countless testimonies were heard and it was a time everyone including family members rediscovered who Evangelist EJ was. Most media houses came to record the farewell event. The world came to send off the hero in style. Over 2000 people proceeded to Glen Forest Cemetery where the body was laid to rest. The place looked like a wedding with white tents and beautiful decorations. Some said this was a send off befitting a prince.
All 3 days were broadcast live on Ezekiel TV and Facebook to enable millions of people to be a part of the live audience.
Evangelist Dr. EJ will be missed but his legacy lives on. His vision to build a school for the disabled will be fulfilled in due time. Several people have already expressed interest in joining in this worthy cause. Many people have been challenged to work for God more than ever.
Baba and Amai would like to thank all the people who were praying for them, Pastor Carol and children and the whole Guti Family. Many thanks to all who made the celebrations a success. May the dear Lord bless you abundantly.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE
We are strong as a family because God comforted us to come to comfort the church
Sometimes we go here and there seeking for answers yet the answer is in the bible.
Read the word of God all the times, it is the word of God that is full of answers. Psalms 115:3 “But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.” The bible clearly states that God does what he wants, does what he likes.
Psalms 135:5 “For I know that the Lord is great, And our Lord is above all gods.”
Our God is above all and he does what pleases him.
When something happens people ask, Why God? People should know that life is a gift from God. God gave us a freewill. We do what we want. Its our life. He does not control us as with a remote control. We know God in different ways and different degrees. The way I know God is that God is a good God.
Young people are losing life because of technology. People spend time on the internet without talking to each other. Young people are weak because of pornographic material young people control your nature, control your feelings. If you control your nature/feelings you will enjoy the kingdom of God. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
