Dear Friends

Glory to God the tomb is still empty. Jesus Christ has risen from the dead. We know many people experienced the resurrection power this past weekend as we celebrated the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Many people came to the altar call to be prayed for. On Saturday the team went to baptize 1 believer who had so much joy after the baptism. Sunday Overseer Abisha ministered, we had 18 locals. We are giving glory to God witnessing the lives of people being transformed everyday since the inception of this unique seed on Forward in Faith in this Island.

We want to thank the God of our father for His grace upon Nevis. This week has been another exciting week. Our attendance: Monday Prayer 12 local Adults, Tuesday ladies Prayer 8 local Adults, Wednesday Bible Study was attended by 14 local Adults. We thank God for a powerful teaching about the Holy Spirit. A gentleman who had been suffering from back pain for the past 3 years also received his healing as Evangelist Kuda ministered to him. There was a lot of joy after service as we had our fellowship . Malaysia
We want to thank the God of our Father for a wonderful week where we witnessed God’s mighty works.  After we bade farewell to Pastors Sibbett and Violet Simbanegavi last weekend we received new pastors Solomon & Sarah Ngorima and Overseer Calisto Manyati  during the Easter weekend. Our Easter services and attendance were ranging between 21 and 40 and Sunday Service we had 48 adults one child. We had delegates from the Zimbabwean Embassy who were with us all weekend and delegates from the Swaziland Embassy. Nations represented were Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland, Congo Brazzaville.  Church history was taught in a mighty way and believers testified of the goodness of the God of our father.  Saturday evening, as Overseer Calisto Manyati shared the word about the Holy Spirit, many believers received spiritual gifts and were baptized in the Holy Spirit and began speaking in tongues. Some members and leaders who were spiritually dry, their fire was rekindled by the Holy Spirit as they basked in His glory. Sunday Service Pastor Solomon Ngorima spoke about the resurrection of Jesus Christ and many people were delivered from constant migraine headaches, from the spirit of stagnancy which prevented one from progressing in life and those who felt weak in their body, received strength.  The God of our father is indeed opening doors for us in this year of having.  We are kindly requesting for prayers to help us purchase a church van (18-Seater) to enable us to carry believers who need transport to church many of them are students and we believe with your prayers, we can get it. We thank the servants of God, the Apostles, Dr Ezekiel & Dr Eunor Guti for sending us Pastors.

Oman
The main Easter service which was combined for both our two assemblies Al Seeb and Ruwi assembly was held on Friday the 14th of April 2017, where a record attendance of 110 people attended this year’s Easter Celebration service. The room where we were meeting could not accomodate the big number of people who attended the service such that chairs had to be removed and people sat on the floor. Many who could not fit into the room attending the service whilst in the corridor and stairways. After, holy communion and praise and worship, Pst Faith gave a powerful teaching on the purpose of Easter, the church was blessed and some were delivered.
The Ruwi service was attended by 12 people with two visitors attending. Its good to note that the Zimbabwean community is positively responding the ministry of the church in Oman. A man who got sick contacted Dr. Richardson via social media asking for prayers. Dr Richardson alerted the team on the ground in Oman and they contacted the person. Pst Faith prayed for him and invited him to church, and he was blessed by the service.
Meanwhile a ladies meeting has been introduced and the first meeting was successfully done and there is great excitement about the upcoming service.

Dominican Republic
The good news that has changed the world “He has rísen” and Jesus has been actively working miracles in Dominican Republic. We thank the God of Ezekiel for a vision that brings the true seed of Jesus Christ here to Dominican Republic. We say a miracle as some churches here go on vacation during the Easter week but Forward in Faith is open preaching the good news of Jesus Christ’s Resurrection. It was a full house in both Pedro Brand Group 28, 18 adults and 15 children and in Alcarizo Mutata Assembly with 18 adults and 12 children. People eagerly anticipated the word of God and we celebrated the victory won by Jesus on the cross of Calvary.

United Arab Emirates
Thank God for a very successful Easter Conference as we felt the presence of God during the Conference. The UAE Easter conference started on Wednesday 12 April with an attendance of 234 Adults and 4 children we also had 3 delegates from Bahrain. On the first day after the preaching of the Word of God 2 people committed to be full members of Forward In Faith Ministries.
On Thursday the service started on a high note and there was Joy as people were immaculately dressed for the official opening of the conference. The second day attendance increased to 292 Adults and 77 Children and this day we had a delegate from Fujairah one of the UAE Emirates. During alter call 3 people gave their lives to Jesus, Hallelujah we give all the Glory to God.
Friday as the Last Day we experienced a great presence of God through worship that resulted in the delay of the preaching of the Word of God.  9 people recommitted their lives to Christ after they heard the word of God preached. We had Holy Communion and there was a presentation of the UAE Website www.fifmiuae.org. We thank God for such a development in this modern world. We experienced a high attendance on Friday of 480 adults and 50 Children. Glory to God.

I want to thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel H Guti for the miracles that took place in FortDauphin where Pastor Maugara and Mejulian Mildred are ministering.
We also thank the Lord for His grace every day in Antananarivo where the Student Pastor is ministering.
In Fort Dauphin, Thursday the attendance was Adults 44 and 28 children. We saw God delivering people.   Friday, attendance was 45 adults and 23 children. We shared about the resurrection power. After that, we saw God delivering people from inferiority complex and hesitation. We ministered the Holy Spirit and 27 people got filled, glory to the God of our father! A woman was angry with her mother and on several occasions she would play with her phone in Church but glory to God, the anger disappeared and she stopped playing with phone after receiving the Holy Spirit and she felt the difference in her life. Sunday service was a great service and people were taught talents, giving amongst other things. 61 adults and 43 children attended the service, among them 4 new people and 7 people repented at the conference. We ended our conference with Holy communion.

In Antananarivo, we thank God for His grace every day. The student Pastor  spent his time during the week with the believers through home visitation. Explaining about our church history and the story of our father. As Elder Tantely and a recent believer Big Sister Dera went to the Hospital preaching, ministering, praying, and sharing flyers to people. They were received with thanks by a number of people. On Wednesday, we visited a couple and we will be starting a new assembly in their place Andavamamba. They gladly accepted and told us that God called them for the ministry. The man narrated that he saw a great light touching his chest telling him to do work the work of God. On Easter Sunday we celebrated the resurrection with 10 local adults and 6 children. We ended our service with Holy Communion.

TEACHING:    PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

In Matthew 15, Jesus spent 3 days with the people. They didn’t go home for 3 days. They had 7 loaves and they fed 4000 people. In Kings 4 a woman was losing her children because of credits so she told Elisha someone is taking my children, he asked what do you have. We must have something so God can use it to multiply. She said I have some oil. She took a few jars because she was not sure. Elisha said close the door and pour. When she wanted more vessels then there was none and the oil ended there. Where your faith ends that’s where you end. Miracles will happen according to your faith. It will happen in your home your sugar, mealie meal, school fees, everything is going to multiply but you must have something for God to use. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
