Dear Friends

We continue with our month of prayer

Deacons met over the weekend for their round of prayer conventions. Deacons being a bigger number than elders the gatherings were much larger. The presence of God was evident.  People received gifts, miracles and deliverance. the spirit of joy was released and people were delivered from depression. We thank God for His grace. Next weekend all the believers and leaders gather for the last prayer convention weekend. We believe more great things will happen. May God bless Baba and Amai for introducing us to this great God and powerful vision. Hallelujah!

GZU (ZOC)  NGUNDU OUTREACH (10th – 17th of June 2016)
On another encounter we would like to give thanks and praises to the God of Ezekiel who has done it again. It was a miracle infested event in Ngundu, where we experienced a complete turnaround in the area of Ngundu. Many people young, old, sick and disabled witnessed the mighty hand of the living God of Ezekiel.

A team of 26 Evangelists from Great Zimbabwe University (ZOC) embarked on a mission to fulfill the great commission of bringing salvation to the people of Ngundu. The gospel of salvation was spread and surely the demonstration of God’s power was witnessed. 382 souls were won to Christ through the door to door visits together with those who attended the evening crusade. We thank God 16 people were water baptized. Great and mighty speakers were used by God vis-à-vis the saving of Ngundu and 4 people were baptized by the Holy Spirit and speaking in other tongues.
Regardless of the freezing weather, the evening crusades were a success with a total of 391 people attending including children. No one was left out in this voyage of salvation. Some miracles include:

  • A lady was healed from the problem of a failing kidney
  • A young girl delivered from the spirit of rejection
  • Another lady was delivered from the stroke that affected her legs and can now walk
  • The God of Ezekiel made it possible for a family that had almost 15 years without being together to reunite and delivered them from the spirit that was using them in an evil manner.

And many more other wonders that the God of Ezekiel made his people witness, for He said it in His word that …..call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things….
Thanks be to the God of Ezekiel once again and may He bless all those who reached out in kind , namely the ZOC crew, our advisors, our elders and deacons, the help and support from the church. Also the Ngundu District Pastors Taruziva who showed us the love we cannot even explain may God bless all His people. To God be the Glory.

Come with us around the globe and hear what God is doing:

Jamaica
We are thankful to God for His grace upon our Island. FIFMI Jamaica is marching on.
We managed to attend church throughout the week. On Wednesday 22 people attended church. The service was so powerful because members took turns to preach five minutes each. On Friday 21 members attended service and three of the newly appointed Deacons preached powerfully one after another to the glory of God. Sunday morning service the Praise and Worship team led us through some powerful worship. The spirit of prayer caught up the entire church and people prayed for a long time. It was hard to stop worshipping, so we allowed the Holy Spirit to have His way. It was indeed a sweet moment in the presence of the Holy Spirit. 50 people attended the morning service and 19 people attended the night service. The church briefly congratulated all fathers present and a sister bought gifts and presented them to each and every father, since it was fathers day. God spoke to one of our members that God is going to reveal Himself through Forward In Faith Ministries with mighty signs and wonders of God. That will be seen in the natural eyes. These signs and wonders are going to cause awe in the midst of the people, for it is written that the latter glory shall be greater than the former glory. God bless you all for your prayers.

South Sudan
We want to thank the God of our father for giving us grace in South Sudan as the church continues to grow.  During the church service on 12 June, three (3) people received Jesus Christ and nine (9) people were water baptized.
The church carried out a registration exercise of the adult literacy classes focusing on English and Mathematics with 31 registering for the classes.  As part of the community outreach and seeking to assist the less privileged in the community, the church will also be embarking on offering classes for identified school going age children in the church.  There are many children in the church who are not attending school due to lack of funds to pay for school fees.
The Sunday church service was attended by 60 adults and 65 children and there was exhortation for the church to seek Jesus and take his light yoke.  After the exhortation, most of the believers came to the altar to cast their heavy burdens, taking the yoke of Jesus in prayer. We give glory to the God of Ezekiel!

Cyprus
Summer is here and temperatures reaching 40°c. However, As Forward in Faith Cyprus we had our prayer convention this past weekend. We had the Europe administrators Reverends Mishael and Leticia Nyambo. Friday we had an all night and our attendance was 118. People didn’t want to go home. There was so much joy. We travailed in prayer even on Saturday in spite of the high temperatures. We were taught about righteousness and attendance was 88. On Sunday we were taught on the church doctrine and attendance was 198. After the service the leadership was taught by the administrators  and in the evening we had a couples fellowship with powerful teachings. Thank you for your prayers and we are believing God for a suitable place of worship.

This week:

  2. Pray for the Explos that will be held around Zimbabwe starting with Braeside followed by many others in greater Harare. Pray for Elders to grasp the vision they are being given to do the work.
  3. Praise God for the successful Deacons’ Prayer Conventions worldwide. Pray that all believers and leaders are able to attend the last prayer convention.

  6. Pray for God’s grace to prevail in your nation.

TEACHING:    PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

What happened with 5 loaves and 2 fish to feed the 5000? – it’s like yeast was added to the dough – bread just increased. That’s the kingdom of God. I’m very rich in God, I don’t have money but when needs come the money comes.

Some people when they count money it decreases and other it increases. Seek God so you can have a lot of God. People will be afraid of you because they don’t know what you do. Don’t be lazy to read the word of God. Read it everyday to feed your spirit not to always understand. After work, please don’t sleep without reading the word. When you fast read the word before you eat no matter how hungry you are. If you have the zeal, desire to seek God and have God. God will equip you to do His work. God bless you. TO BE CONTINUED….

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
