Founded by Apostle Dr. Ezekiel H. Guti: Over 50 Years and Moving On

Apostles Update Week 34

Dear Friends,
This Sunday Pastor Hilary Mwale (Cyprus) and Pastor Julian Martinez (Belize) were dishing out the Word of God to fill the hearts of the hungry. Pastor Mwale started with “The Power of Promise” as he fleshed out that the promises of God are assurances that He gives us of deliverance, protection and many other things but in the journey of life we will come across hindrances. He assured listeners that the enemy does not have access to the promise itself so he disturbs everything else around you but the promise of Jehovah will never fail so standing on and claiming the promises of God over your life, you will overcome. Pastor Martinez followed with a message entitled “Saved by His gracious love” where he was pointing out that Jesus’ desire is that we might all be saved. He gave a heartfelt testimony of his own life and how he was into drug and alcohol abuse and even sold his body to an older woman for fried chicken and alcohol but God turned his life around.  He also shared a powerful illustration of how Jesus’ desire is to have rulership of our lives but since He is a gentleman, He waits to be invited. Once we invite Him to take over, He will fully be in charge of our protection, provision etc. He encouraged us not hesitate to cast our burdens unto Jesus for He cares for us.
We give glory to the God of our father the Servant and Apostle of God, Dr. Ezekiel Guti for His Faithfulness towards us and our nation. This week, we continue to have powerful midweek services. Believers are testifying of the faithfulness of God, and how He is seeing them through these difficult times. Our Attendance for midweek services was 3 for prayer, Bible Study had 4 and Sunday service had 8. Please continue to pray for the growth of FIFMI St. Maarten and we will find favor with God and man for our Church building.
Blessed be the Lord God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti who continues to keep His church. Indeed the believers are growing in the knowledge of Christ. Prayers continue to take place online. We thank God for the international Sunday. Believers logged in to hear the powerful Word from the first speaker Pastor Mwale. Believers testified how encouraged they were seeing some of them had lost hope. When pastor Martinez gave his testimony one man was testifying that surely there is a God in this ministry who changes lives and that’s a ministry to stay in, hallelujah.
We thank God for His faithfulness as He keeps on doing great things in our nation. Saints are being strengthened by prayer as they see God providing for them despite some not working but the grace of God is sufficient. Two people came for deliverance during midweek after being delivered one of them brought things that he had received in his previous church to be burned. Friday Evangelist Kuda Gwarimbo from Trinidad and Tobago preached to us a powerful Word full of prophecy. Sunday we had a powerful service despite the heavy rains which made some people not to attend church service and some had gone for a funeral. We had 20 people and two visitors who came after being delivered. 2 people received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We give glory to God. We had time to listen to Pastor Mwale for lnternational service as we are starting our services in the afternoon. Thank you for your prayers as you continue to pray for our nation.
St Kitts We give God all praise and glory as we continue to see His grace and favor in our assembly. All our weekly services were well attended. Our Tuesday ladies prayer meeting was full of the presence of the Lord as the Holy Spirit ministered and some ladies were delivered from evil spirits. On Thursday, 27 people attended the youth service and 3 youths gave their life to Christ during the service. One lady was water baptized on Saturday and she had an opportunity to receive her baptismal certificate on Sunday during the service. 45 people attended the Sunday service. Our Dance Ministry ministered in our Sunday service for the first time and we thank God for the young people as they are being used for His work. After receiving a teaching on the gift of the Holy Spirit, 5 believers were filled with the Holy Spirit. Glory to God.
Nevis- We have been standing on prayer and fasting in our prayer groups and we watch God go to work many, many times on our behalf. After being prayed for over the phone through one of our sessions on Zoom, while on her hospital bed, a lady was discharged from the hospital the following morning. After months of praying and believing and encouraging, a member's son who had been jobless since February of this year and awaiting his dues, finally received payment just days ago. We thank God as we are now making efforts to all meet physically on some Sundays although some people are still hesitant. We listened to the early International Sunday Service followed by worship with 32 people in attendance including 5 Visitors. 5 people rededicated their lives to Christ while 1 person gave their life to Christ. We continue to pray for our own church venue and for safety throughout the hurricane season.
Many believers are now logging in for Morning glory prayers from Monday to Friday which have been life changing. Wednesday, many believers from the community continue to receive their healing and deliverance as a result of this Ministry. The Home Bible Study groups had an exciting and impactful interaction as they continue to study in depth, the fruit of the Spirit. We have the Levites, Joshua Generation, Grace & Israel. Every Sunday, one group gets a chance to share with the believers what they have learnt and how they are applying the teaching in their lives. Friday night, we had a powerful prayer session. Our Sunday Service was full of fire such that many believers received deliverance after the teaching. We had 3 visitors and 4 new believers were baptized last Sunday. We are so blessed as we continue to hear amazing testimonies of God's goodness in the lives of the believers. We thank you for your prayers.
We praise God for continuing to bless and keep us during these difficult times. We have reverted back to online services, on our Prayer and Bible study we see good attendance weekly. On average, we have 12 to 29 devices connected including some new believers. In Punta Gorda 3 people received Jesus Christ and another 3 got water baptised. In Mango Creek we had 3 people receive Jesus Christ, 2 child dedications and 1 water baptism. We had a leadership seminar with 14 people in attendance. Our Fire Fridays are explosive which have been graced by Evangelist K. Gwarimbo and Pastor Rick Mariano recently. On Sunday, 23 devices were connected to the International Sunday service. People were blessed by the word shared by Pastor Julian Martinez and even shared it with their relatives. Two women with fever and sore throat were prayed for by Pastor Helen and counselled. One received Jesus Christ and after prayer she felt lighter and her airways cleared. The second was prayed over the phone and immediately testified she was totally healed. Please continue to keep us in prayer to continue experiencing more breakthroughs during this time of quarantine.
We thank the God of Ezekiel for another successful week. Several speakers from around the globe continued to minister and bless us through the Word of God. On Sunday, 24 persons were in attendance, we were blessed with the opportunity to listen to the first International service message by Pst Hillary Mwale (Cyprus). Believers were encouraged to listen to the second message by Pst J. Martinez (Belize) after the service. Testimonies for this week:
  • An Elder testified that her personal prayer list during the 10 days of prayer and fasting is being fulfilled by God. She has received her driver's license, a new job and is now a homeowner.
  • Believers testified how morning glory prayers are impacting their lives daily They are now worry free and obstacles that used to overtake them during the days, they are now overcoming them because of fellowshipping with God.
Please pray for our nation as the General Elections will be held this week. Please pray for peace to prevail during this time.
We thank the God of Ezekiel for what he is doing in our nation. On 31st July 2020 we successfully bought our National Centre for Cash. We Praise God for locating this already in use Church facility, with a sanctuary, two other chapels, offices, youth and Sunday School rooms, 2 kitchens, a baptism pool and a very big gymnasium (basketball court) within the building. It is on a 2.8 acre land, complete with 99 parking slots on it. The national Center is in Arlington part of Dallas Metroplex in Texas. This August is a month of celebration and Jubilation for the whole nation of the USA. The God of Ezekiel has done it again. During this season we were also graced by Apostle Dr Steve Simukai. We held the first ever National Evening service on zoom which was attended by an average of 500 people. Apostle Steve preached a powerful Word filled with the wisdom of God, our nation will never be the same. We continue to see the hand of God in America as God continues to protect his people during the pandemic, even those who are in the frontline (Doctors and Nurses) are experiencing the protection of God. We give God all the Glory and the Honour.
We give thanks to the God of our father Ezekiel Guti for smiling upon couples in the UK through an opportunity for marriages to be strengthened, especially under the current Covid-19 climate. Under the guidance of our National Couples pastorate, Overseers Kasese and Pastors Mushango, the UK Couples held their very first National virtual fellowship which was held over 2 sessions on 29/08/2020.The attendance was extremely encouraging with around 138 couples logging in for the afternoon session and 248 couples for evening session. Through a dynamic panel of speakers divinely selected to especially address issues impacting couples in the diaspora, the afternoon session saw couples being grounded in the knowledge of God. This session also allowed virtual interaction whereby couples were able to ask questions in a safe and non-judgemental platform. The evening session saw couples being taken through a journey of personal knowledge through the teachings of Pastors Paul and Fiona Arthurs (USA). The session concluded with another Q&A session. All in all, this was a well received National event which gave an impetus for more similar events to be organised at both local and national platforms.
From the 21st to the 22nd of August we had our National Go Quickly Talents Conference with an amazing attendance of around 600 participants the whole Nation of Botswana, which also included some ladies from other churches who were waiting expectantly to hear from our mother Apostle Dr. Eunor Guti. The conference started on very high note when our mother opened with a speech that lifted up the hearts of ladies as she encouraged women to work using their hands following the vision that was given to our father even before he went to America. Mama pointed out that, by working talents, we live Kingdom lives. We had three local speakers and one main speaker, Bishop Angeline Chabarwa. One woman had to wake up the following day to go and order vegetables which were bought like hot buns after hearing the word. She is still experiencing God at work. A group of ladies have started a club of putting money together and supporting each other on capital. We want to thank God that the Nation of Botswana will never be the same again. We thank our mother of the nation Dr H. Nchunga who is a woman of her word. She continued to encourage us when we almost gave up. Truly it was a miracle conference.

Luke 2:36-37,” 36 Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37 and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
Carry the burden of the work of God, of praying for the Apostle and Servant of God. Now this woman did not depart, she became 84 years, we don’t know when she started praying but we believe she prayed more years. She prayed everyday and she did not depart, night and day she was in temple serving God with fasting and prayer. She is called Anna the prophetess, I don’t think that she began by becoming the prophetess, this came while she was busy fasting and praying for the work of God. As she was doing that she got to know the secrets that other people did not know, to hear what other people did not hear. We see this in verse 38. Who told her?...........TO BE CONTINUED. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
