Dear Friends

Cayman Islands Sunday service had 22 adults and 3 children. One person received Jesus and 3 people were baptized in water. The church committee was identified and they had their first meeting. Training of the leaders has also begun now. We have set up two separate venues for Bible study and Friday prayer begins this week. During the week 2 people received Jesus and one was filled with the Holy Spirit.

One lady was not able to sleep at night because of something that would choke her but after prayer she has been delivered and is now sleeping well. Another woman used to dream of snakes but after Baba prayed for her and she was delivered, she had a dream where she saw Baba dressed in white clothes and he gave her 2 towels for her and her husband to use. Our application for the registration of the church will be submitted this week and we need a lot of prayers. The short-term missionaries, Overseers Taona and Martha Kahwema have begun home visitations and the people love this very much. Glory to God.

News from around the globe:

Boston
We had a very exciting weekend in Boston. It was a our North East big Sunday and it took place in Boston. The big Sunday saw saints from New York, Philadelphia, Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC coming to support the baby church Boston. We started off with Friday service, Saturday was leaders meeting in the morning then Women’s and Men’s meetings in the afternoon. The ladies meeting “sister to sister luncheon” was held at the mission house backyard and was attended by 42 women of which 27 were from Boston. This meeting brought some women who had been ministred to by the Apostles of Jesus Christ, Baba and Amai but had never attended our services. After the luncheon some declared they were sold out and are now coming to church. True to their word on Sunday 5 people came and declared they had come for good after the ladies and men’s meetings. We then had an evening service in the basement at the mission house because the hotel we usually use was fully booked for that night. It was  well attended with about 40 people including some ladies who had come for the afternoon meeting and they only left after 10pm.

The big Sunday was a great success. 72 people were in attendance and 34 were from Boston. All the people from Boston are part of our regular members plus those who committed themselves that day.  We had a big fellowship after church. One of the Boston members, the  Chairperson stood up and pledged that if the Region agrees to meet again for a big Sunday in Boston next month then he would pay for all the hotel accomodation for those from out of Boston. People especially from Boston did not want to leave the church after the big Sunday. Some have been texting that it has been one of the best sundays for them. The Boston church has been left happy, excited and loving their church more. We are excited about what God is doing in Boston.

Rome
We would like to thank the God of our Father for His grace that we continue to see in Rome. This Sunday we experienced the presence of God in our midst. The Spirit of God was present to heal and to set the oppressed free. There were 20 people in attendance and the Church in Rome is full of joy and thanking the God of our Father for using Forward In Faith UK Youth. The UK Youth and their leadership purchased a State of the Art complete PA System two weeks ago for the Church in Rome. Glory to God. Help us to thank this God of our Father and continue praying for the Church in Rome.

Samoa
We thank God for Samoa and thank you for your prayers. The church is growing stronger each day. There are a lot of changes now, people are grasping the doctrine of our church and new people are coming. Above all we thank God for the spirit of love, unity and joy that has been poured on our church. Please pray for us that people may catch the vision of talents and that the church continues to grow.

Bangladesh
We thank the God of our father Ezekiel Guti. After strong teachings on one on one soul winning, one of the assemblies improved attendance from just above 20 to 71 Adults and 4 Children and 21 received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. There was an urgent need to shift from the pastors house to a Hotel functions room. We had booked for 50 people but the number kept increasing and additional chairs had to be brought in. We expect the number to increase more this Friday as we encouraged them to come with their children.
Assembly 2 attendance also increased to 28 adults, 8 children and 7 people received Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. This assembly also needs a bigger venue since the pastors lounge were they meet has become too small. We pray for a miracle for God to provide the necessary funds to pay for new venue rentals. We also need small sets of instruments since we already have instruments players. The teaching from Baba’s books are transforming people’s lives. There is great potential for the church in Bangladesh, more than 80% of the members are undergraduates, postgraduates and professionals.
Securing meeting places will increase the attendance of diplomats, other officials and business people versus meeting in the homes. Keep praying for the team, Pastors Mutumbwa and Masango to do as expected by Baba and His God and that they be protected from the heat and flood.

Belize

This is the nation’s busiest month as it is our month of independence celebrations and many of our members will be participating. We had great services 28 attended in Belize City, 29 in Punta Gorda and 4 people gave their lives to Christ. Pray for us as we prepare to open a new church in a place called Orange Walk.

This week:

  1. A. Pray for the Servant and Apostles of God, Drs Ezekiel & Eunor Guti that God will give them supernatural strength as they have a lot of work to do in Jamaica.
    B. Pray that Baba and Amai are able to find a place to stay which is close to the meeting place. May God open the doors and lead them to the right place
    C. Praise God for the breakthrough, we now have a venue in Jamaica. Pray for the works going on at the venue, the fixing of tiles. We need the venue to be ready urgently so it can be used for the Crusade. Pray for speed and no delays in the works.
    D. Pray for the Gospel Crusade to be held this Thursday September 17-20, 2015 that many people are saved and God confirms His word with signs and wonders. Pray that the people that God has chosen for FIFMI will be identified and respond to God’s calling.

      TEACHING:    PART OF BABA’S MESSAGE

Some women were almost divorced because they couldn’t speak nicely. Words can encourage and motivate. Words can also break friendship
Proverbs 12:18 “There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword,
But the tongue of the wise promotes health”. Some people’s words are like a razor they cut and pierce. Words make someone a bad person. Words can promote health. Words can’t die
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit”. Proverbs 21:23 “Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles”. Ecclesiastes 7:17 “Do not be overly wicked nor be foolish: Why should you die before your time?” Words give life.

Mark 7:20 And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. It’s not what they eat. People eat and go to the toilet. Sometimes you joke and others don’t think it’s a joke – be careful. No words come out of the mouth without coming from the heart. Words cannot die. Arguments will end or die but words will not die. Words keep many things alive. Marriage stays strong because of words. Tell your wife I love you all the time. Overcome her with love. Study each other so you will know you are together and work out differences and things that cause you to fight. Marriages are also destroyed because of words. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
