Apostles Update Week 39

Dear Friends
We appreciate and acknowledge the love of God and continual prayers that have been bestowed upon our church in Trinidad and Tobago. Midweek services are proving beneficial to the saints as they are receiving teachings to solidify their faith in Christ and the history of their church. Belmont assembly had an average of 15 believers, San Juan assembly an average of 4 believers. We witnessed 2 occasions of 2 people who just come to our church without invitation, received Christ and committed to be members of FIF. One came during our private prayer as pastors on a Wednesday afternoon, another one on a Monday prayer session. What a miracle working God! Another lady who developed serious stomach pains before bible study, was ministered to and received instant healing.
Tuesday prayer was a success with 5 ladies coming to prayer. The spirit of prayer dawned on the session laced with powerful teachings on the history, importance and impact of Tuesday prayers.
We also had our first leaders meeting and seminar on Thursday where 13 church committee members and potential leaders convened for empowerment, lessons centred on chain of multiplication, departmental heads function, our church structure, how to conduct church service and outline. We are already seeing the fruits of the seminar as evidenced by the way our Sunday services were, superb hosting, ushering, praise and worship and ambience in auditoriums, the God of Ezekiel is a good God.
Our twin Sunday services were powerful and life transforming, Belmont assembly were 24 in attendance, San Juan 12 came to church. One person received Christ and committed herself to be a FIF member.
We are thankful to God for our Tuesday prayer that went on for longer than usual. After teaching and prayer we had to close service at 9pm which is 2hours later than usual although the ladies wanted the prayer meeting to continue. We had an attendance of four women. We thank God for the spirit of prayer that descended on us, the Go quickly ministry here is indeed going strong.
Our bible study groups were attended as usual with attendance above 11people in each group. Our mid- week services had 26 people on average. Sunday service had 40 people in attendance and 2 people receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Some of our regular believers (18) did not come due to work and a family function.
This week in total 3 people declared Forward in Faith their home. On Saturday visitation we ministered to a family of six and invited 6 other adults and all managed to come this Sunday. One of the Ladies hired a taxi from Georgetown to Golden grove to attend service with us.
Continue to pray for us to have a place of worship.
After a week of rigorous activities, including Lunch Time Ministries we are excited to see attendance numbers moving up with several visitors, some of whom have become candidates for Water Baptism and are excited to join the FIFMI NEVIS Family. Sunday’s Worship saw an attendance of 27 Total (20 adults and 7 Children).
  • Pastors were invited to pray for a lady and after being invited back for a second time, the Lady who was unable to walk was able to get up and walk.
  • The Pastors were led by the Spirit for a Lower Level Tenant in the same building as the church. They approached the Tenant who was so thankful because she had been listening to the service during Lunchtime Ministries and wanted them to pray for her. She was so excited that the pain she had been experiencing had left her.
We were graced with the Children’s church ministry in the service. Glory to God.
We want to thank the God of our father Ezekiel for His grace in Malaysia. A team of 5 leaders led by Elder, travelled a 2 hour flight from the capital Kuala Lumpur to a city called Miri, in the state of Sarawak Malaysia, to revive and have an outreach where our father and mother, the apostles of Jesus Christ had planted the unique seed of FIF 10 years ago. The believers who had been there had left the country no one was left there, so this trip was to go and cultivate and re-establish the church. Surely where the seed of FIF is planted, it never dies. A total of 16 people where present to hear the word of God. The people where excited to hear that Forward In Faith had come. They voted for their leadership that same day and the following day 21 people turned up for the service and 2 gave their lives to Jesus Christ. One person was water baptised. Deliverance took place privately where people who were bound by the devil where set free one by one, from Pornography, sexual immorality and many spirits. A BBQ was held in the evening where 26 people attended and fellowshipped. Nations represented were Zimbabwe, Kenya, Mozambique, and Kenya. The venue where the church used to be, which the servant of God had got in 2009 was not occupied, it was free. We saw a miracle as the owner remembered the Elder and promised to give it back at the same rental as before. Oh Glory to Jesus Christ! We kindly ask for your prayers that the landlord for the strategic church venue doesn’t change his mind as we plan to return there in a few weeks to pay for the venue, re-launch the assembly, train leadership, win many souls deposit and that the seed of FIF may be sown in the hearts of the people and they enjoy the Kingdom of God.
We continue to thank God for His unfailing love and goodness which were once again shown during the recent Forward In Faith Ministries International (FIFMI) Australia Elders and Deacons Deeper Life Conference held in Sydney, Australia, from the 3rd to the 6th of October 2019. Almost 300 Elders and Deacons from across Australia and the surrounding island nations of Fiji, Papua New Guinea, The Solomon Islands and Samoa attended the Conference. A total of 460 people attended the service on Sunday the 6th of October.
While the conference delegates missed the physical presence of our father and mother, Professor Ezekiel Guti and Dr. Eunor Guti, who could not travel to Sydney, God still worked in powerful way through the International Speakers who represented them. These speakers were Deputy Secretary General of FIFMI, Apostle Dr. Steve and Dr. La-Verne Simukai, the International Director of AMFCC Dr. Joseph Guti, the Director of AMFCC part-time studies Dr. Mbisa and the Administrators of FIFMI United Kingdom Rev C. & E. Marango.
From the first service until the end, God’s Presence was palpably present and throughout the Conference the teaching of the Word would often lead into joyous praise and deep worship. There is not enough space here to list all the topics which were covered but we can testify that the Lord gave us the Word of the season in Australia. Delegates were reminded to live righteous lives, to be true believers first before acting as leaders, to maintain high standards in conducting church services, to attend AMFCC Bible school and how to promote unity and peace in the Church. There was also a timely word to the leaders on how to raise godly families.
Indeed, just as the FIFMI Statement of Faith says, the Word of God was preached and followed by signs and wonders. There was miraculous healing with four people healed of headaches, six people who had arm and shoulder problems were made well, many were healed from abdominal pains and another was delivered from backache. For this, we give glory to the Lord!
The Conference ended with a Word of prayer from our father Prof Ezekiel Guti encouraging the leaders to go and practice what they were taught and to lead the church in peace. We thank God for continuing to keep His servants well and pray for the grace to put in practice what we have been taught.
We thank God Wednesday we had people attending in bible study in 3 cell groups. A total of 20 people attended the respective groups. On Friday we had prayer and 27 people were in attendance. God begun to minister deliverance as people were praying and worshipping. Two ladies were delivered. One thanked God after Pastor Rhoda through word of knowledge, rebuked the anti marriage spirit tormenting her, without her telling anyone about what was troubling her. She went home free and joyful.
Sunday we saw the joy of the Lord in praise and worship time. The people here love baba Guti. They pray for him and they imitate him. We had testimonies where one lady from Jamaica was thanking God for giving her a new job which allows her to come to church on Sunday. Two youths a young man and young lady received Christ for the first time on Sunday. We give glory to God.
This coming week we are going for soul winning in the area around our church venue. Pray for us as we also want to launch Wednesday deliverance and healing service next Wednesday.
Belize city: The Lord laid it upon our hearts to start the month of October with a week of prayer and as a church we took time to pray for our mother and father and the work of God at large. Every prayer commander led with power. It was well attended. From the 1st to the 3rd attendance was ranging between 23-28 people and Friday night we had 42 in attendance. There was great deliverance during this time many were set free, healed and anointed with the Holy Ghost. And the last day had 47 in attendance and many people gave testimonies of what the Lord did during this prayer week.
Punta Gorda: We are seeing the hand of God in both Punta Gorda assemblies. On Wednesday as we launched our first home cell group in the town, we were 7 adults and 8 children in attendance. Sunday service had 8 adults, 4 youths and 10 Kids in attendance in town and 5 adults and 6 children in the village assembly. We also had a great fellowship after the service with refreshments.
Please keep us in prayers as we continue to reach out to more souls and that we continue to see growth in our assemblies. Also please help us to pray that very soon we can raise enough funds to get tires for our church van so we can start using it again. We praise God that it is working once again.
As FIFCAHSM (Forward in Faith College and High School Ministry) we had an inter schools rally on the 4th of October 2019 in Mutare at Ezekiel Guti Academy. There were 2 High Schools and 2 colleges namely: Ezekiel Guti Academy, Face to Face College, St Marys High and Sakubva High 1. A total of 125 students and 7 teachers were gathered at the venue.
The students enjoyed themselves as there were activities lined up for them. The Director encouraged students to be obedient and to have good qualities that will make one to be outstanding. After the word 55 students received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Examination candidates were prayed for and some students came for counselling as they had fear of examinations. We thank the God of our father for giving us the grace.

1 John 3:1 “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him
Jesus died for our sins. When you feel sin you should know who you are in Christ.
Our big problem is that we are not too sure that we are really children of God. If we knew it we would be different. Because of what we feel in our body, our weaknesses, we condemn ourselves. All you are fighting today, Jesus has already died for.
You can go to heaven but being poor. To enjoy the kingdom of God you have to kill some things or get rid of some things in your life. God has already given us all. Just like when God gave the Israelites the land of Canaan they had to deal with the giants there. God has given you all but you have to take it by force. Jesus died for us all but to enjoy the kingdom there are some things we have to overcome. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
