December 18, 2017

Dear Friends

Amazing how the year is almost up. In a week we will be celebrating Christmas, the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we go for Christmas let’s not forget to pray for Baba and Amai as the work is continuously growing. Thank you for all the prayers you make for Baba and Amai and the work. Let’s celebrate knowing Jesus is the reason for the season and not losing focus.

Marlborough
On the 17 of December 2017, Marlborough District in Harare had the pleasure of receiving our mother Apostle Dr Eunor Guti in the District. She started off by paying a visit to the children’s church, at the newly constructed Child Evangelism Hall. The children’s church was split into three classes according to the children’s age groups where each class conducts its own services. Our mother had time to visit all three classes, sharing a word with each class. From the children’s school, she moved on to the main church where she commended the church for having the children’s school, emphasizing the need for the children’s church and its importance in helping raise children who are grounded in the word of God at an early stage, also stressing that this was also a burden that was heavy on Prof Ezekiel Guti’s heart. Just as the adults have their own church programmes, so should the children have their own service programmes with their teachers, who also have to be constantly equipped to be effective child teachers.
In her word to the main church, the Apostle started by narrating the church history before teaching about salvation and the doctrine of the church. A total of 10 people received Jesus Christ as their personal savior for the first time. She called for a second group of people who were not sure that they had indeed been saved when they received Jesus Christ, or who felt that the person that had led them to received Christ did not have the seed of Salvation to start with. A total of 68 people came forward and were saved anew, with some going for counselling soon after. A lot of people were delivered from various ailments. Testimonies of those healed from chest pains, migraine headaches, knee problems, anger and many other problems were received during and after the deliverance session.

ZEGU
The ZEGU ZAOGA On Campus group embarked on its first international gospel outreach in Zambia(Choma) from 3-10 December 2017. All the 43 evangelists experienced the hand of the God of Ezekiel in seeing the challenges associated with missionary work being overcome. 814 people received Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior, 5 were baptised in water and 11 were baptised in the Holy Spirit. Much of the soul winning was done at Makalanguza market place hence converts did not want to leave their markets unattended. As such, arrangements were made for most of these people to be baptised by the local elders in days to come.
Some of the miracles that took place during the outreach include:
  • Several people being healed from eye problems, leg, stomach, back pains.
  • A woman who had cysts was prayed for and the cysts instantly disappeared.
  • An epileptic boy who whose hands were numb was prayed for and the numbness disappeared.
Special thanks to the God of our father Ap. E. H Guti for the victory before, during and after the gospel extravaganza. Many thanks to all who made the outreach successful

Here are some of the results of prayers around the world:

St. Kitts
This week was busy with plans for our first Christmas Program, slated for Sunday 17 December The theme is ‘A King Is Born’. Our Sunday morning service was amazing the Holy Spirit was felt by all in attendance. There was testimonies given;-
  • One lady spoke of how sin made her to walk away from God but after coming to FIF-St. Kitts she has given her life back to him and there is a tremendous change in her life.
  • Another lady confirmed God does answer the prayers of his children. She applied for a job and in three days she had been given three interviews and is now a manager. That is the power of God who answers prayers.
  • The testimony of a sister on finding a special kind of love in our church had all smiling.
We dedicated 2 babies to the Lord. Our FIF family is truly growing, Hallelujah. Thanks to Baba for his obedience to God and for his prayers for FIF-St. Kitts. 3 persons re-dedicated their lives to Christ. 1 of the 3 was a visitor. There was much tears of joy. Hallelujah to the God of Ezekiel. We had 28 persons in attendance including 2 visitors and 5 children. God bless and thanks for the continued prayers.
We are prayerfully bidding our Pastors Dennis and Abigail Chaima Masunda farewell as they leave us to go back to Zimbabwe. We were blessed by their love, fellowship and teachings.

Nevis
This has been a week of much emotion as we bid goodbye to Pastors Ben and Prayer who are returning to their home base and Family. They will be greatly missed by all. History was made on Sunday as FIFMI Nevis did its very first Baby Dedication. The Worship service had 30 in attendance (20 Adults and 10 Children). A luncheon Fellowship followed our worship where members enjoyed a scrumptious lunch and social gathering to not only enjoy an early Christmas but to bid goodbye to Pastors Ben and Prayer who many shared had touched them spiritually during their tenure here in Nevis. They will be missed.

Barbados
We thank God for His grace which is obviously sustaining us a young church here in Barbados.
Despite the fact that working, shopping and travelling activities are approaching peak time due to the festive season, we still managed to hold mid week services as scheduled. The leaders went through further training this week using Baba’s leadership books.
e still recorded a total of 25 people including 3 children. We kindly request prayers so that God will give us musicians to compliment the guitarist who is now attending services once a week.. With the prayers of the FIFMI family, we remain hopeful and faithful for greater things to come our away.

Miami
Miami for Jesus! We thank God for another week. Sunday service brought everyone in close fellowship with God during worship. The youth presented a praise dance which touched the hearts of many. Fellowship after church was sweet, with great food. We also had an opportunity of celebrating the birthday of our Pastor with cake. There was a lot of joy among the believers. Sixteen people attended. We thank God for His goodness. We are very grateful for your prayers for the advancement of the Kingdom of God in the city of Miami

Dominican Republic
It is the festive season and we have reason to celebrate here in the Dominican Republic! The year of having is still not over and God had one last surprise for us! Jesus is the reason for the season and a new assembly was birthed on Friday, on the floor below our new mission house. We thank the God of Ezekiel for expanding the church here in the Rosa María Residential, and we are excited about new growth. We were 12 adults and 7 children. Most residential estates do not allow any kind of church activities or supermarkets, but as usual FIFMI makes miracles happen. As always we thank the saints of God for their powerful prayers to nurture and support such a precious newborn. We were 19 adults and 7 children in Pedro Brand 28 and with one man receiving Jesus Christ as his personal savior, and 8 adults and 10 children in Mutata, Alcarizo. The God of Ezekiel is so good!

Madagascar
Thanks to the God of our father who saw us through another week after walking for 7km to Ambinany bay last Sunday for a crusade where twenty new people received Jesus. We saw 28 adults and 10 children coming for the Sunday service in Fort Dauphin on foot and the group also prepared its choir. One lady who was delivered from traditional beer which she started after she lost her husband confirmed that FIFMI gospel changes inside and outside because she could not sleep unless she drank traditional beer. Glory to God she’s now free. This Sunday was a Christmas fellowship with 72 adults 59 children. The young generation did a play about the power of Jesus over impossible situations. The new Ambinany bay church also sang and it was a time of Joy. Some miracles:
  • one man who could not eat or walk for one week came to church after prayer and praised God for his miracle
  • One girl whose leg was painful and swollen so much that she could not walk began to walk after she received an instant miracle
  • One deacon felt the push to pray for his family and his sister got protected by God when they got involved in a bus accident.

Zambia
We had a successful young generation conference in Lusaka, Zambia whose theme was, “RAISING YOUNG EZEKIEL’S IN THE YEAR OF HAVING. About 200 delegates attended the conference. The guest speakers were the International Administrator Pastor Chijena and the International teachers training officer, Pastor Maruza. During the conference many children were delivered and over 20 were filled in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues. 20 children gave their lives to Christ. Glory to God.
This week:

  1. Pray for the Servant and Apostles of God, Prof Ezekiel H. & Dr. Eunor Guti that God continues to give them supernatural strength every day. Pray for wisdom and revelation in the many crucial decisions that need to be made as the year is ending.
  2. Pray for the transfers of pastors taking place to go well. Pray for problem free journeys and protection as the trucks move the pastors to and from different places.
  3. Pray for the growth of the believers in Norway and Finland. Pray for the registration of the church in Norway.
  4. Pray for God to direct the Light House of Mercy Project. Pray that God makes things clear to His servant and His will is done. Pray for God to provide the money through Partnership. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Psalm 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.”
  5. Pray for God’s protection over His people as many travel for the Christmas Holidays.
  6. Let’s continue to press in for God to intervene in the processing of the other visas for the longterm missionaries for the different nations. Believe God for a miracle.
  7. Pray that God protects all the missionaries and their families. Pray for our FIFMI churches worldwide for growth, venues and mission houses.
  8. Pray for your nation.

TEACHING:  PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

Having needs us to have clean hearts. We have to forgive. The spirit of unforgiveness brings anger, bitterness, resentment, jealousy, grudges, ulcers, arthritis and distorts words because of the pot they are coming from. The spirit of unforgiveness invites demons into one’s life. It separates relatives and it divides friends. Some things you expose and fight. Jealousy makes you want attention.
There are 2 types of forgiveness; forgiveness from the heart and from the mouth. From the heart there’s no ball that rises up but you remember the story. From the mouth you even cry while relating the story. We need to forgive from the heart. God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
