Dear Friends

We begin our week praising God and celebrating the church registration for Forward in Faith Church in Oman. A meeting hall which accommodates 100-150 people has also been granted. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness in answering prayers. Glory to God!

More of what God is doing through prayers:

St Kitts
It was an eventful week here in St Kitts. God gave us grace to pay surprise visits, with roses and chocolate, to our believers who are mostly singles and share with them the love of God on Valentines day. This brought a lot of joy in their hearts as they testified the uniqueness of the God of Ezekiel. We met for Monday prayer with 1 local, Wednesday bible study and Friday prayer with 3 locals. Our Sunday service had a good turn up with 17 attendees. 7 local adults and 8 children. Overseer Abisha led bible study and Overseer Ann preached a powerful word on Pulling down strongholds. There was great deliverance in the house. There was a sweet fellowship after the service as hot food was served.
Meanwhile the vibrant youths from North London Province have purposed in their hearts to lessen the burden upon the Servant and Apostle of God. The fire is spreading and other youths from across the UK are joining in. They have embarked on a Mission project to raise money for instruments for St Kitts. We are believing God together with them for abundance, in this year of having. Thank you for continuing to pray for us as renovations at our new church venue are due to start this week. We are believing God for an excellent job done to make ready a sanctuary for His people to worship at the lowest possible cost.

Nevis continues to see growth in its ministry through membership and reputation of Teaching the Word.  Attendance is also growing; Monday prayer 6 locals, Tuesday ladies prayer 6 locals, Wednesday 4 locals, Friday 5 locals. 16 adults and 10 children worshipped at our Sunday Service which included 3 new faces.  2 people gave their hearts to the Lord.  One member was water baptized after giving his heart to the Lord. Pastor Enock led Bible Study. The praise and Worship Team set the tone for the delivery of the word but not before Testimonies were delivered by several members who spoke of the awesomeness of God and staying steadfast in prayer PUSHing until something happened is manifesting itself.  Pastor Virginia delivered a riveting Word and several members went up for prayer and deliverance.  Worship was followed with Fellowship and saw members embracing and loving on each other.
There is much excitement of the Planned Couples Fellowship and Dinner coming up next week. FIFMI in Nevis is building momentum with the word of the Teaching of the Word of God being quite attractive to many who are searching for the word.  The Bible Study inclusion into the Worship Service is what many have been yearning for. We see God doing mighty things here in Nevis through Forward In Faith. Praise God!

Barbados
Here in Barbados we had an awesome week. The church is strong and continuing to grow.  Indeed this is the Lord’s doing!  The power of God is evident during services, with people being touched by the Spirit of God. This week 8 people committed to making FIFMI their church.  Glory to God!
Our weekly services and attendance were: Monday Prayer 11 local adults, 2 children. Wednesday Bible Study 11 local adults, 1 child. Friday night prayer 5 local adults, 1 child. Sunday Service 27 local adults, 6 children. A few Testimonials amongst many:

  • A lady said she was amazed by the love from the pastoral team.  She said she has never seen this magnitude of love like this before.
  • A lady said she had so much anger and negativity in her life, but since recently coming to FIFMI, her life has become sweet and full of joy
  • Many people testified about their lives being greatly transformed since coming to FIFMI.

Pastor Jackie Gwarimbo led Wednesday Bible Study on Prayer and the importance of forgiveness.  Deliverance from unforgiveness took place.
On Sunday Pastor Jaqui Chuck led bible study on Water Baptism and 3 people were water baptized after the service. Pastor Kuda gave feedback on Deeper Life, preaching powerfully on the year of Having and prophecy took place.  2 people received Christ.  There was so much love and joy amongst the believers, as evidenced by people not wanting to go home after the service! We are witnessing a sweet spirit of giving amongst the believers.  Every Sunday many bring eats and drinks for post service fellowship.  We ended service with a lovely fellowship. We received 6 visitors this week.  Please continue to pray with us for the church registration.

Miami
We thank God for a brand new week. Wednesday we had bible study at the retirement home where 7 people attended. Friday we had bible study at the mission house and also enjoyed a time of prayer which was refreshing with 6 people. Our Sunday service had 6 people in attendance. 8 people attended the service at the retirement home. We thank God for all your prayers. We are praying for God to keep expanding us numerically and financially so we can quickly move to a building. We thank God for His faithfulness towards your heartfelt prayers. We also thank God for building His church. We continue to declare the City of Miami to be for Jesus! Amen!

China
There was jubilation when China received its first resident Pastors since its inception in 2007. The new Pastors held their first service which was attended by 128 adults and 12 kids. The venue was filled to capacity and a bigger venue is now needed. The entire Church is grateful to the Servants and Apostles of God, Baba and Amai Guti for sending them shepherds.

Dominican Republic
We thank the God of Ezekiel for the works He is doing in Dominican Republic. He has opened the door for the pastors to preach on television telling the whole country about Forward in Faith Ministries International, the Servants and Apostles of God Baba and Amai Guti and to also preach about salvation. We worship a truly awesome God! We were 22 adults and 12 children in Pedro Brand Group 28 and 12 adults and 7 children in Alcarizo Mutata. The believers are experiencing the kingdom of God as many were healed of different afflictions in their bodies. During our bible study groups we take believers house to house praying for different people in the community. They are also excited about the theme of this year, a year of having through business and working with their hands. Thank you for your prayers!

Belize
We had an amazing week as we received feedback from the conference indeed it was a great week on Friday we had 42 people 31 adults and 11 children and Sunday was amazing to as the pastor taught us how things will be happening in the year of sufficiency. We saw the power of God at work as the Lord was touching people without the laying on of hands and it was amazing to see the physical manifestation of God’s presence on people’s body. Glory to God. Though this was not our big Sunday we saw 66 people in attendance and 2 received Jesus. The vision of Home talents has been embraced and people are stirred up to work. Indeed something new is happening

  6. Pray that people experience miracles as they work Home Talents.
  7. Pray for your nation.

TEACHING:    PART OF BABA & AMAI’S MESSAGE

Luke 8:18 “Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.””

When this ministry started, people gave as individuals.  Contributions were not taken up in church because people understood the importance of getting blessings. They understood the importance of the blessing so they gave generously. Eg, they would pay for all the buses a church needed to take people to the big Sunday. People would sponsor a whole crusade on their own.
To those who have a longing for truth, more will be given. Just be teachable.
When one understands the concept of giving and the importance of blessing their life is different. Be careful how you hear. People had an eye to see the needs. Families would take portions for buying building material. There was no collection or contribution in the church.
2017 is going to be a great year for those who have a teachable heart. We need to go back to the old ways of individuals giving. All we need is a willing heart and God will provide. The pastor needs to lead in giving seeking blessings.
Fast, pray, and work for God.
God bless you.

We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
