Apostles Update Week2

Dear Friends
We continue to thank God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for His grace upon the church in this country. We continue to meet during our mid-week services. One Sunday during our morning bible Study which was so powerful, Pastor Truth Phiri was interrupted by two ladies who walked up front and asked for prayers as they were rushing to the hospital to see their relative who was seriously ill. The saints joined faith with Pastor as he prayed for them. On Wednesday we found one of them waiting for us at the church full of joy because the Lord God of Ezekiel had performed a miracle as her relative was discharged from the hospital.
This Sunday we had a wonderful service and love feast after the service.10 people were in attendance. We ask for your prayers as the build up to Carnival season has begun as this has a negative impact on our members and church attendance. We are still looking for a suitable venue in the city near Belmont.
We give praise and thanks to the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti as He keeps on doing great things in our nation. It has been a great week as the saints are meeting for prayer every Monday and Wednesday for this month of January. Tuesday and Thursday we had powerful leadership teachings coming from Baba’s books on leadership. Friday we had a powerful service with 34 people where one lady who had been having pain in her leg which made her to be absent from work was healed after being prayed for. We had a powerful Sunday service with powerful praise and worship. The church was overwhelmed with the joy of the Lord. 54 people attended the service and we had one visitor. 2 people testified being healed after being prayed for separately. The other one had pain all over his body that he couldn’t stand properly but through the power of God he was healed instantly. We distributed fliers to everyone so that they may invite friends and relatives for next Sunday as we will be having our love Feast fellowship. Please pray for this event to be successful. Thank you for your prayers, please continue to pray for peace to prevail in our nation as we are looking forward for the upcoming elections in the month of March.
We had another great Sunday Service in Nashville FIFMI. The Holy Spirit visited us during Praise and Worship and people rushed to be prayed for before the Word was even preached. Pastor Bruce preached powerfully about the fear of God. In attendance were twenty two people of which nine were children. What a blessed service we had. We are thankful to God that Pastor Rick arrived safely in Zimbabwe where he has gone to attend Deeper Life Conference. We continue to pray for the commitment of current members and for new souls.
Nevis has been experiencing bad weather and so hampering church attendance but we thank the God of our father Apostle Ezekiel Guti for allowing us to worship even with small numbers, 10 adults and 2 children. Our members are still fired up from the Ten Days Prayer and Fasting and we saw God at work with the Bible Study and Word delivered on the same subject of Faith even though the presenters did not discuss beforehand. These topics touched several members and others shared their experiences and testimonies:
  • One member was unable to attend Friday Prayer due to working late but experienced a miracle when she was standing at the bus-stop a stranger came to give offer her a ride. They told her God had told them to stop for her and to give her some money ($200) which she had been praying for.
We are continuing to pray for: incoming Pastors, securing a bus for transportation for our members and increase and rededication of members.
We thank the God of our father Professor Ezekiel Guti as you continue to pray for us for we see His amazing grace upon our Nation. We had a powerful Wednesday morning Healing and Deliverance service. We have seen the hand of God moving, people are truly being healed, delivered and set free from all kinds of spirits that oppressed them and many came for counselling. As we continue with our cell groups we are seeing growth as we've added two more cell groups- glory to God. We had a powerful service on Friday night where we had a time of intense prayer for the church. We continue with our Love Feast Sunday services. This Sunday our Bible study was conducted by Dr. Corbin and the Ministry of the Word of God was by Elder Betty. We had 34 in attendance.
Glory be to the God of our father Professor Ezekiel H. Guti as from the 31st of December 2019 till 10 January 2020, the Botswana female Pastors met in Serowe, the Central Province for the 10 days of prayer and fasting under the leadership of our mother, Mama Bishop Dr Hildah Nchunga. This gathering follows the foundation that was laid by our mother, Apostle Eunor Guti during the 10 days of 2019 where she taught the Female Pastors of our nation the importance of praying for the servant and Apostle of God and the work of God. There was great joy and flow of the Holy Spirit as we spent most of the time in prayer. We would like to thank our mother Apostle Dr Eunor Guti for teaching profound teachings of prayer. Our nation will never be the same.
This week:
  1. Thanking God for the Servant and Apostles of God, Prof Ezekiel H. & Dr. Eunor Guti that He will give them supernatural strength as they prepare for the Deeper Life One Conference (Pastors' Conference) to be held this Tuesday January 21-26, 2020. Thanking God that He gives them a word in season for the pastors. Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to take us deeper like sea divers and lead us as we pray for Baba & Amai. Thanking God that He will make them victorious again in 2020.
  2. Thanking God for the upcoming Deeper Life One Conference to be held at AMFCC this Tuesday January 21-26, 2020. Thanking God for journey mercies as pastors travel from around the world. Thanking God for anointing the speakers and making the hearts of the pastors to be good soil that will receive the word. Thanking God that the rains will not be a hindrance at the venue - it can rain around but not at the venue.
  3. Thanking God for the growth of the FIFMI churches around the globe. May God provide good venues for services in those places.
  4. Thanking God for your nation.
Acts 2:42, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers."
People think that people stay in church because of anointing - that’s wrong. Anointing comes and goes but love stays. It’s not the anointing that’s keeps people in church. There can be a time of Spiritual dryness in church - gathering with no power of God, people will stay because of love not anointing because anointing comes and goes. I’m saying to the leaders it is very important to know that it is the love of God that causes people to stay in the church. After the 3000 people repented on the day of Pentecost, they had to stick to the teaching of the apostles. Learn from the book of Acts – be steadfast in the Apostles’ doctrine. God bless you.
We love you and are praying for you,
Drs Steve & La-Verne Simukai
