In Zambia, Forward In Faith Ministries International (FIFMI) is known as Zambia Assemblies of God Africa Forward In Faith (ZAOGA-FIF). ZAOGA-FIF began in Zambia in 1976, when the vision which God gave to Archbishop Dr. Ezekiel Guti was put in the heart of then Reverend Zephaniah Mwanza (now ordained Bishop Mwanza). The church started at a place called Nega-nega about 70 km from the capital city, Lusaka. It started with a membership of 15 people and was registered in 1977.
ZAOGA-FIF in Zambia has now grown to 50 powerful assemblies, that are changing the country with the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are currently 5 church buildings, as well as 7 church stands to be developed and under construction. The church in Zambia has 5 mission houses with the national mission house also under construction. ZAOGA-FIF in Zambia has 100 Pastors all who are graduates from
AMFCC Harare and some from AMFCC Lusaka.
The church continues to grow through faith and prayer, along with various ministries in operation including: Child Evangelism,Youth for the Nations, Go Quickly and Tell (Women's Ministry), Single Women's Ministry Girls & Boys fellowships, Men's Ministry, and many more.
