Women's Ministry

The women ministry from the beginning has always been the backbone of the church especially in intercession and financial support for the building projects through the working of Talents.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29
"But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.”

Aims:
1.Biblical Support
2.To raise the general standard of women's life
3.Enhance women social status

Titus 2:3-5
"...The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed."

Ladies Meetings:
Women Tuesday Prayers:
All women in each city or village meet at a central place to intercede for the work of God, pray for the leadership of the church, for themselves and for the nation. Archbishop Guti always emphasizes that "Women are the backbone of the church" ..

In Harare, Zimbabwe for example, women fill the tabernacle at AMFCC Bible School, praying and interceding freely. An average of 2,000 women come every Tuesday to pray. Great things happen and God speaks to the women as they share revelation and prophesy given to them for the benefit of the work.

Major objectives of Tuesday Prayers:

• Women are taught to be prayer warriors and are trained to be intercessors for the work of the ministry, for themselves, and for the nation
• They're trained and encouraged to preach the word of God and win souls
• Occasionally women's prayer groups organize themselves into teams, and go around preaching deliverance, healing the sick, and winning souls to Christ.
• At present the women have been leading the Good News Deliverance Explo a movement which began in 2005. The gospel of Jesus Christ, and the delivering power of God is being preached and demonstrated worldwide through Good News Deliverance Explo.

Women are taught:

• To be good wives who know their role according to the word of God: To be good housekeepers and good helpers
• To take their God appointed position beside their husbands, not below or above. Genes 2:18. To be a prayer warrior.
• To be industrious and self-reliant so as to help meet family needs
• To cultivate (through Christ) a sweet spirit in herself that she may gain respect from her husband, children, workmates, neighbors, and society at large.
• To live a holy life before God and man. To present and conduct themselves in a manner that benefits a child of God in the sight of all.
• Women also teach each other on various topics such as: cooking, housecleaning, proper ironing, baking, how to be in good books with in-laws, exercise, hospitality, health care for the face and body among many other useful topics related to the each women's group.

Single Women's Ministry

FIFMI's single women's ministry reaches out to single women through relevant teachings, counseling, and meetings.

A single woman is a single parent, who is either divorced, was widowed, has a child but was not married or is childness and just unwilling to be married. This ministry reaches out to these ladies through relevant teachings, counselling sessions and fellowship meetings, in order to:

1. Restore their dignity and self esteem through the Word of God
2. Encourage them to be God fearing and to wait upon Him as their chief provider
3. Encourage them to be faithful stewards in the house of God and to discover their purpose as children of God
4. Encourage rebuilding of family relationships (with children, in-laws etc) where they have been affected
